Ingredients
Medium Potatoes 5-6 (cut into fingers)
Garlic paste 1tsp
Red Chilli paste – 2 tsp
Red Chilli Sauce – 2 tsp
Cornflour / Corn Starch – 5 tsps
Salt to taste
Oil
Garlic cloves – 5 – 6 (chopped)
Red Chilli flakes – 1 tsp
Vinegar – 2 tsp
Honey – 2 tsp
Sugar ½ tsp
Fresh Coriander leaves chopped
Spring Onions stalks 2 (chopped)
Method
- Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan.
- Deep fry potato wedges till crisp and golden brown. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Heat two tablespoon oil in another non-stick pan.
- Add garlic and ginger.
- Saute for a minute.
- Add spring onion bulbs, mix well and saute till onions are translucent.
- Add red chilli sauce, vinegar, red chilli flakes, sugar and honey.
- Mix well and cook for half minute and add salt.
- Lower the heat and add fried potato wedges.
- Mix well, add spring onions.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
